A defect or condition that significantly affects the vehicle's operation, market value, or safety.

Term of the Express Warranty or 1 Year from Delivery

Attempt Repairs: The manufacturer must repair the defect after being notified by the consumer.

Reasonable Number of Repair Attempts: This is presumed if, within the warranty term or one year from the original delivery date:
- The same nonconformity has been subject to repair four or more times by the manufacturer or its agents or authorized dealers, but the nonconformity continues to exist.
- The vehicle is out of service by reason of repair for a cumulative total of 30 or more business days during such term or period.
